A message from attorney Daniel L. DeCubellis, who serves on the Board of Governors of The Florida Bar, announces openings for qualified attorneys on local bar grievance committees. He writes: “In my capacity as a member of the Board of Governors for the Ninth Judicial Circuit, I am the designated reviewer for two Florida Bar grievance committees.”
The committees meet monthly at The Florida Bar’s Orlando offices. Mr DeCubellis seeks lawyers with substantial practice experience, as committee members determine whether attorneys have committed ethical violations; experience in legal practice and in client relations is generally necessary. The committees would benefit from greater diversity, and GOAABA members are encouraged to apply.
