Onchantho Am

Onchantho Am is Associate General Counsel for the University of Central Florida College of Medicine at the Lake Nona campus, advising on health care affiliations, transactions, contracts, and regulatory and compliance matters for the college, UCF Health, and related programs. She earned a B.A. in sociology from the University of Florida and a J.D. from Stetson University College of Law. Before joining UCF, she was the executive and chief legal officer of a Longwood-based nonprofit working in mental health, substance use, and child wellbeing, and earlier practiced civil litigation. She has served as president of GOAABA and as NAPABA Southeast Alternate Regional Governor, and she volunteers with Embrace Families to advocate for children in foster care.
