Everett McKeown

Everett L. McKeown is a veterans benefits and military law attorney and the principal of Veterans Legal Advocates, P.A. He earned his J.D. from Barry University’s Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in 2006 and was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2007; he is also licensed in Tennessee and the District of Columbia and admitted before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. His practice covers VA disability claims and appeals, VA debt and overpayment issues, discharge upgrades, and military record corrections. A veteran himself, he served 13 years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force and later in the Florida Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve, including in the JAG Corps.
